Our village – Schenna
Spoilt by more than 300 sunny days in the year and surrounded by the peaks of the Ifinger and Hirzer mountains, Schenna is embedded in vineyards and orchards at the South-West slope right above the spa town of Meran. With its panoramic views towards the Alpine mountain world and the green Etsch Valley, the village entices you through its magnolia and palm trees and creates a sense of relaxation.
Some of the localities are situated between 600 and 1,500 metres above sea level. The higher parts of the village are situated at the foot of the Meran 2000 hiking region and are marked by farming life and picturesque hiking trails, while the village centre with its piazzas, restaurants and shops invites you to stroll around.
The once sleepy village at the sunny hills above Meran is today a quiet, but busy village with great choice on offer for culture and leisure time.
